There's nothing quite like a warm mug of hot chocolate to bring you comfort on a chilly day - and this version comes with a nourishing twist! Made with creamy oat milk, antioxidant-rich cacao powder, and a calming addition of ashwagandha, it's both decadent and supportive for your wellbeing. Ashwagandha has a myriad of benefits, from calming anxiety and stress to supporting better sleep, and cacao powder is packed with flavonoids that can help support heart health and boost your mood! Together, they're a delicious combination that warms the body and the spirit. Ingredients: 1 cup of preferred milk (if non-dairy, oat milk makes for the creamiest hot cacao!) 2 tbsp of raw cacao powder 2 tsp of honey or maple syrup 1 tbsp of coconut oil (or MCT powder) 1 tbsp of collagen (optional) 1-2 capsules of Health First Ashwagandha Supreme, opened Directions: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients except for the Health First® Ashwagandha Supreme. Heat gently, whisking constantly until warm. Once heated, remove from heat and pour into a high-powered blender. Add the contents of the opened Health First® Ashwagandha Supreme capsules into the blender. Discard the capsules. Blend on high until combined. Pour into your favourite mug, top with whipped cream if you're feeling fancy, and enjoy!
